    Hello
I recently had occasion to try a system restore; it failed on restart saying (something like) System Restore Incomplete. No changes have been made to you system.

I tried a (large) number of available restore points but each one failed with the message above.

Where do I start in trying to find why restore is not working, please?

I am on Windows XP Professional, Version 2002, SP2.
    Thanks

Often an A/V product will intefere with a System Restore. Try disabling it before the restore. If that fails try the restore in Safe Mode.

Try disabling your AntiVirus software before you do a system restore
