Every now and then (every few days) a window comes up saying pctsAuxs.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. What is this file and what is its purpose? What effect does closing it have?

According to pctsauxs.exe - Process Library and pctsAuxs.exe Windows process - What is it? it is part of Spyware Doctor by PC Tools.

I'd say try uninstalling and reinstalling the most current version Spyware Doctor.
