I just installed outlook 2007 and when I compose a new email the first line defaults to Times New Roman. If I arrow down to the next line then the fonts I have selected in Tools - Options- Mail Format- Stationary and Fonts....... shows up. I've tried everything I can think of to no avail. The screen shot shows what i'm talking about.

    thanks in advance.

Is your signature set to be added on every new email? If so, turn it off temporarily and see if the problem still exists.
If not, do you have any 'white space' above your signature that may be formatted in Times New Roman?
