    Hi All,
I have created a document in MS word and have created a Table of Contents using the Insert->Reference.->Index and Tables and it work perfectly fine.

But when I transfer this document to other computer sytem of my colleague and when they try to modify the document it doesnot update automatically. Rather it gives an eroor saying unable to find the right links.

Can anyone suggest me if I need to change some settings.
Both computers have same version of MS Word 2003 standard edition.

Thanks in advance for all your help

    Welcome to the Lounge!

Does your document contain links to external material?

How did you build the TOC? Is it based on styles, TOC codes, or outline levels?

When you click Insert > Reference > Index and Tables and click the Options button on the Table of Contents tab on your colleague's machine, which boxes are checked?

    Let us know.
