I've recently migrated from Excel 2003 to Excel 2007. Among the many "improvements" that drive me mad is the ultra-pastel Tab Colors. It seems that no matter what theme or scheme I use, it's exceedingly difficult to tell when I have multiple tabs selected. Manys the time I've accidentally entered data into multiple tabs because I didn't realize I had more than one selected. They all blend together.

I know how to change the color of a given tab or multiple tabs, and I can figure out how to change themes. Nothing seems to help make the selected tab stand out from the pack.

    Any suggestions?

    thanks

I agree the tab colors are terrible. As far as I can see, there is no way to affect that. :-(
