    Hello,

In my group, we use a macro to generate a defect log, which creates an IDL.doc file containing the details of all the defects.

usually this file is saved in "my documents" folder, but many a times it is saved at any location randomly.

we want to define the path in coding, but the macro project is password protected.

How can i remove that password,, so that i can edit the code??

    Any suggestion please.......

Search Google for vba project lost password and you'll find many utilities that promise that they can break the protection, e.g. Advanced VBA Password Recovery. I have no experience with any of them.
