    Hello.
I have columns with firstname, surname, and salary. I want to lookup up the firstname and the surname to then find their salary. I know that I could do this using VLOOKUP and concatenating the two columns, but is it possible to do (perhaps using offset) without having to create a hidden column? Thanks, Andy.

(I may have asked a similar question before, but can't work out how to list all my previous posts.)

    =SUMPRODUCT(--(A1:A20="First"),--(B1:B20="Second"),C1:C20)

    You could also use:
    =LOOKUP(2,1/((A1:A20="First")*(B1:B20="Second")),C1:C20)
    FWIW
