Have just fired up a NEW Laptop with a 17" screen. Running Vista Home Premium. I play bridge frequently on BBO (Bridge Base Online)
My problem is that the BBO gaming screen comes up about 2/3s the size it was on my desktop unit with the same size (17") monitor.

Is there some way I can tell the laptop to enlarge the BBO presentation???

This may be due to the fact that the resolution on the desktop is not the same as the resolution on the laptop. Each LCD display has its own "native resolution", and this may be different on the two displays.

As John said, check the resolution on the different systems and also check the System Requirements for the program itself. You may have to manually set the screen resolution to view the game as you want each time you load it and then reset the resolution back to original settings when you've finished.

I'd suggest going into the options menu of the game software and see if there is a setting to allow you to raise the resolution (or screen area).
