Hi.... (question [if I may be permitted] for maybe Big Al but which I will post here rather than send as a PM so that others may benefit from the response, also because you have previously indicated you do / or did use Ashampoo) Following your earlier advice I am chuffed to say that I have burned numerous CD's using the third option in Ashampoo 9 then the first sub option, which can be played in "Normal players". The one minor limitation I have encountered is that the absolute max is 80 mins but (as sodds law occasions) I have a few sermons that exceed that duration, even one 80.75 minutes is rejected so bearing in mind that some of my friends for whom I burn the CD's, have - not so modern players - which require the burning option mentioned above, what is the alternative. I have in fact burned no less than 9 sermons in mp3 format [681MB] being of over 9 hours duration on a single CD but they -as you know- are only good for players that recognise mp3 so any suggestions as to how to tackle the 80.75 min + audio? T'would be difficult to locate and delete any pauses using Audacity... not that clever I'm afraid. Thanks Dave.[attachment=83535:Big_Al.png]

If you are burning a CD to be played on "normal" CD players you are out of luck. That is a limitation of the CD format. You either have to have a CD player that will handle MP3s and/or WMAs or have a DVD player.

Thanks Joe.... so the answer is my friends need to have either a player that can recognise mps3 or a DVD player that will play the audio via a TV set! Which option in Ashampoo 9 should I select to burn in mp3 format then Joe? Cheers Dave.

If you are going to burn a DVD with MP3s then select the burn MP3 option. BTW, a DVD player can certainly be hooked up to a sound system without having to go through a TV.

The same menu selection you used to do the 9 sermons you mentioned in your first post - it should be (in your graphic) the third menu, second selection (note the wording about MP3 support).
