    Thumbs up

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/953195 states under the problems that Outlook 2007 running in Cached mode will hide new messages -- see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/968773/

My question is has anyone come across this and has the resolution stated worked for you? Is it just a one time fix or is this something that will plague us?

I have a handful of users that I've upgraded to 2007 ..all management .. so I want to be certain that installing this service pack won't cause more than a one time problem.

I've not had any complaints about this (yet). From what I read in When Outlook 2007 is running in Cached mode, users do not see some new e-mail messages it appears to be a one time thing.

Note also that part of the resolution is to install SP-2. So, it is unclear whether this is a continuing problem, whether SP-2 resolves it, or whether SP-2 causes it.
