I would be remiss if I didn't toot the horn of the equine lovers of the world. This, as you know, is one of the biggest events in Kentucky every year and Lexington and Louisville go wild with parties. I'm not much of a betting man, but I'm in the cheering corner of the "old guy" owner and trainer of General Quarters! (of course, it's a "military" name!)

The second biggest upset win in the 135 years of the Kentucky Derby. Anyone who was courageous enough to put down a $2 wager on him was the lucky winner of $103 and change. For those who don't follow horse racing, the jockey, Calvin Borel (a 42 year old Cajun) is known as Calvin " Bo-Rail " because of his propensity for taking his horse to the RAIL and winning!
