Hi, Folks! The CD Writing Wizard is not recognizing the CD blanks I'm trying to burn. These are the same blanks I've used before, and when I put in other used CD's, the computer will play them. What can I do? Thanks. Marycat

Hello Marycat and welcome to Woody's Lounge!

It would help if you provide a bit more info, please. It IS possible that the burning capability would fail and the drive still be able to "play" existing discs, but:

    1) Do you have a CD drive or a combo DVD/CD drive?
    2) How are you trying to burn the CDs - with Windows Explorer or some 3rd party software?
    3) What error message specifically to you get when you try to burn one?
    4) What is your computer and does it have any "diagnostic" software similar to what my Dell includes?

I hope someone here can help or advise you...

A couple more questions... first, how old is the CDRW drive and how much CD burning do you do with it ???
