It appears there was a glitch in posting your message. Can you explain this in more detail? A duplicate copy of what? Under what circumstances?

A duplicate of the message that was sent or received is automatically created.

Where are they created? Received in your Inbox and sent in your Sent Items? Or all in your Inbox?

Do you have any rules running?

Received in in-box, and in sent box for sent items.

Please provide reasonable detail, and think carefully and answer all the questions you are being asked. It is frustrating for people trying to help when you provide minimal information and do not answer all their questions.

How many mail services do you have connected to your Outlook - see under Tools | Email Accounts | View or Change Email Accounts. Are they all Exchange accounts, POP accounts, or IMAP accounts, or what? Is one or more of these accounts set at the server end to save messages for x days? Do you have two email addresses on the same POP server (such as jlkirk@hotmail and captainkirk@hotmail)?
