    Are you opening the form interactively (from the database window) or using code?

    The code behind the switchboard doesn't provide for opening a form as a pivot table or pivot chart. You'll have to write a custom function, e.g.

    Code:
    Function OpenPivot()
      DoCmd.OpenForm "frmPivotForm", acFormPivotTable
    End Function
    where frmPivotForm is the name of your form.

    In the Switchboard Manager, use the "Run Code" command instead of the "Open Form" command, and specify OpenPivot as function.
