    Hi,

Someone in my office has duplcate Office XP (SP3) Shortcut Bars on the desktop (Win XP Pro SP2). She has tried hiding it and deleting it. But the 2 return upon rebooting.

Does anyone know how to turn the extra one off?

    Thank you in advance.

IIRC, the Shortcut Bar gets started as part of the boot process. You can use a tool such as Autoruns for Windows to manage what gets started when you boot the PC. Hint: See the Logon tab.

    Hi Jimmy,

Check the User's Startup folder - there may be two Shortcut Bar entries in there.
    Cheers,
