    Hello.
I create two Slide Masters. When I then use the Slide Design Task Pane to apply one of my masters to the selected slide, occasionally the other master disappears from the Task Pane. Has anyone had this happen? Why is it and how can I stop it?
    Thanks, Andy.

A master that is not in use are often not preserved by PowerPoint. Usually at least one slide needs the master applied to it in order for PPoint to preserve it.

    Try the following:
    - Activate Normal view.
    - Select View | Master | Slide Master.
    - Right-click each thumbnail on the left hand side in turn and select "Preserve Master" from the popup menu.
