    I am trying to use the equation editor in Excel for the first time

    I am trying to set up a standard Deviation for NPV

    I need the following amendments

    1) A need NPV to be in subscript after the Standard deviation Symbol

    2) I need a 2 after the last bracket on top i.e the formula in brackets is to the power of 2

    Please advise how I can go about doing this.

    Your assistance will be most appreciated

    I don't know whether Equation Editor works differently in Office 2007, but in Office 2003 and before, you'd use the superscript/subscript category:
