    Hello,

    My spreed sheet contains a frozen pane of cells at the top.
    Now When I press Ctrl + Home:
    Instead of moving and selecting the cell all the way to the left of the row I'm in.
    It moves and selects the cell to the right of the pane I'm in.
    How can I fix this without having to get rid of my frozen pane?
    Boy is this a PANE ......Sorry I couldn't resist.

    Thanks,
    HandyAndy

    Hello AndyAndy:

    When you have a frozen sheet and you press Ctl + Home, the active cell always will be the first cell (angle left superior) of the area that is not frozen.

    If you don't mind using a different key (for Home) or key combination (for Ctrl+Home) you could do the following:

    Record a Macro, assign a shortcut key (ctrl+q and ctrl+m are free). Set the storage location as your Personal Macro Worksheet. The contents of the macro does not matter - something as simple as asdf in a cell will do.
    Find the macro and delete everything between the comments and the "End Sub". Replace the code you deleted with the code that would simulate the normal Home and Ctrl+Home functionality.

    Your code would look something like this.

    Code:
    Sub HomeKey()

    '
    ' Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl+q
    '
    Cells(Selection.Row, 1).Select
    End Sub

    Sub CtrlHome()
    '

    ' Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl+m
    '
    Cells(1, 1).Select
    End Sub
    In my example ctrl+q emulates the Home key while ctrl+m emulates the Ctrl+Home combination.
