I would like to have the attached spreadsheet's cells protected except for column K and column M. Is it possible to have several groups of cells or individual cells protected and others groups of cells or individual cells available for data entry?

    Thank you

    Step 1:

Select columns K and M (click on the column header of column K, then hold down Ctrl and click on the column header of column M).
    Select Format | Cells...
    Activate the Protection tab.
    Clear the Locked check box.
    Click OK.

    Step 2:

Select Tools | Protection | Protect Sheet...
If you wish, you can specify a password (which you will have to confirm) and set various options.
    Click OK.

The worksheet is now protected, and only unlocked cells can be edited by the user.
