    Card File

I am still addicted to that old old Windows utility, "Card File" which is as plain, unfancy and USEFUL as anything that has been developed since for keeping track of simple but important data, like library numbers, frequent flyer accounts, family birth and death anniversaries, etc.

Is there some way to set the flags when opening this old DOS program to point straight to my (only) .CRD file, without me having to open the program, go to FILE: OPEN, then click on my filename. I seem to recall - dim DOS days - that one could point directly to a file to open immediately.

Any help for this simple conundrum appreciated.

    Re: Card File

    Hi
If you can't get it going again, you might like to consider using the power of *.cdf to display info (with no clicking needed). Have a look on my web site for Instant Integrated Information (III).
    It might be useful.
