    Hello all,

I have created a vlookup that worked and works w/ xl 2000 however since I have upgraded to 2007 version the same vlookup reports #value instead of the correct answer.

    Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure why ....however I believe I have discovered 'an' answer.

it appears that 2000 is more liberal on the start of the range than is 2007. the range starts w/ " '- " and will work in 2000 however it needs to be converted to a 0 (zero) to work in 2007 !!!

things that make you same hhhhhhuuuuuummmm.

Any thoughts from the gurus on the board?

Would you please show us the entire formula and a part of the data that shows the problem?
