Microsoft give sinstructions for adding sound to PPoint presentations at http://office.microsoft.com/assistance/hfw...=HP051946981033 it says to right-click the sound icon and select Custom Animation.

There is no Custom Animation when I right-click.

    So now what?

You need to click on it first to activate the icon and then right click. You should then see the Customize Animation option.

    5. To adjust the settings for when the sound file stops, click the sound icon Icon image , right-click, and then click Custom Animation.

Mike, what I'm seeing seems like it's being treated like a graphic. There is no Customize Animation. There's an Options, but then in there it's Format Picture, and other things...

    ?

Sounds like you have v. 2007 where it's different?

Go to Animation tab > Custom Animation
