On doing an microsoft project install - what is the default location path?

I currently have 2 locations. one path maybe a legacy path left over from an old version of microsoft project install.

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\1033\Global.mpt

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\global.mpt

I have customised the global.mpt template and would like the amended project template pushed out onto all pcs.
When users start Microsoft project my amended global.mpt is the template they should be using. Therefore the correct location is import.

...also a user mentioned they have a global.mpt template in their profile directory location. Why would the ms-project template be under their profile? a shortcut perhaps? ms-project crashed?

    C:\Documents and Settings\<userName>Application Data\Microsoft\MS Project\10\global.mpt

    many thanks

See MSKB article "Cannot save to Global.mpt" when exiting Microsoft Project. It explains where Project looks for the Global.mpt file.
