    Network Neighborhood Icon Gone

Here's another one for you: (not my computer but a friend's): She is on a token ring network (yes, they do still exist). Pentium 500 running Win98 SE. She has no Network Neighborhood icon on her desktop and isn't sure if she ever had one! It doesn't appear in Windows Explorer either. Without editing the registry, is there a moderately simple way to get the icon back on her desktop?

Thanks in advance for your help!

If you have TweakUI, on the "Desktop" tab enter a check mark in the box next to "My Network"

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

Nope...don't have TweakUI installed on that computer. Should I download and install it?

Yes, go to <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.microsoft.com/NTWorkstation/downloads/PowerToys/Networking/NTTweakUI.asp> TweakUI</A> and this version will work with all Win 9x, NT and Win 2k versions.
