I am having a problem with saving my macro's.

Excel won't let me save any changes to the Paersonal.xlsb workbook.

I went into the directory and allowed full user permissions thinking that would do it, but still a no go.

Upon closing the workbook, I can only save a copy, it won't write over the existing work book.

    How can I fix this?

    What happens if you
    - Quit Excel.
    - Move your Personal.xlsb to a different folder.
    - Start Excel.
    - Record a small macro in your personal macro workbook.
    - Quit Excel.
Does Excel create a new Personal.xlsb, and are you able to save macros in it from then on?

That did the trick, but it's funny because I had set my personal.xlsb workbook up by recording a macro as you suggested initially. It was protected some how???
    Seems fine now.

As usual, I must have zigged when I should have zagged.

    Thanks for the help.
