24 hrs of World Air Traffic Compressed in One Minute
    Courtesy of Steve Bass's newsletter

I was struck by the tidal surge of humanity.
I know that from Toronto (and I suppose other east-coast cities), flights for Europe leave around 8pm to arrive in Europe the next morning.
At the 0m 6s mark, a "solar flare" of flights can be seen spitting out from north eastern America heading for Europe.
At 0m 14s Europe wakes up as daylight approaches.
At 0m 19s The USA is going to sleep.
At 0m 34s The USA awakes, and humanity creeps across the continent as the sun rises.
At 0m 36s a surge of humanity starts to stream westwards out of Europe, "Going Home".

The east coast of Australia lights up at the 1m 04s mark

It lights up ... looks around and says "I think I'll have another beer" Then goes back to sleep.

My guess is that it is something to do with the earth rotating while we watch the video.
Either that or G****n B***n's ministers expense accounts, which we're not allowed to discuss.

Well, my reading of what wos wrote is that he didn't state it was compressed into one minute, but that it took one minute to do the compression.

    Next complaint?

If you want your daily surge on your desktop try the Star Alliance Screensaver.

Full disclosure - I have nothing to do with this company, besides using their services (and their screensaver) from time to time!

Why was the time taken to do the compression even the slightest relevant?
