    Does anyone have any code for detecting that a particular USB device is connected? I know the V.ID and P.ID.

    Nope. That one link was for checking for known serial numbers of the drive. Since I don't know the serial number ahead of time, and this isn't a drive, it wasn't helpful.

    There are some attachments in USB Drive detection - Xtreme Visual Basic Talk that might be of interest. You have to register to be able to download them.
