    Hi there,

In the Folder List view, I notice that my Calendar is bolded and contains a "(1)" after its name; here's a screen shot:

Anybody know what this "(1)" means and how I find the particular appointment that is causing it?

    I'm using Outlook 2007.

    Thanks a lot.

Perhaps you inadvertently moved an unread e-mail to your calendar.
Play with the different views to see if you can find the culprit.

Thanks for your prompt reply, Hans. Good idea; will do, and let you know if this doesn't yield a clue. Thanks again.

The (1) means that there is one unread item in your calendar folder.

Right click on the Calendar folder, Advanced Find, More Choices, Tick "Only Items that are unread", OK. This should then show you the offending item.
