In a PM, I mentioned 2 things in a list and put (a) before the first item then the second letter of the alphabet in parentheses before the second item, but it came out as ( even though it was a lower case b not an upper case B. Is there a way of preventing B or b followed by ) from being interpreted as ?

Looking at the list of smileys seems to be the only one that is generated by typing something that one is likely to want to type for another reason. Is there a case for removing that one, or changing the typing that generates it?

I'd be for changing the keyboard shortcut, but this is one of the smileys built into IP.Board, I don't know if its behavior can be modified.

Also irritating is the conversion of (c) to and (r) to . I use them in VBA code. A workaround is to apply formatting such as bold to the letter between the parentheses.
