How do you send an anonymous e-mail in OL97

Any ideas greatly appreciated. I checked Outlook Help, which says you can toggle whether the From field is visible in the View menu, but this is not what I want to do. I want the recipients not to know who sent the e-mail. TIA.

If you don't want someone to know who sent the email, it suggests that you have less than sterling motives for sending it. If you just want to keep spammers from picking up your return address, go to Tools-->Services, select the Internet E-mail service and click on Properties. You can change the reply address to something like myname@nospammatt.net so that recipients know enough to remove the nospamm, while automated scanners should try to use it as it stands.

Unless there is a good reason why you want to use OL97, why not create an e-mail account with Hotmail or Yahoo. That way you can remain totally anonymous.
