Is there a limit for the line numbers returned by the erl funtion (32k maybe)? I put in line numbers and used erl in my error message but it is returning the wrong number. To make my line numbers look consistent I wanted them all to take up 6 positions and I wanted them to increment by 10 so there would be room to add in some lines of code without redoing all the line numbers. Now erl is returning a strange number instead of the number I have as the line number. By the way, the number it returned was 35774 but it should have been 101310.
    I'm confused!

Line numbers should be in the range 0 ... 65535, i.e. they are unsigned 16-bit integers. You can enter line numbers greater than 65535, but they will be reported modulo 65536, i.e. 65536 = 0, 65537 = 1 etc.
