Outlook-Word Interface

When trying to compose an email using MS Word as the email editor, I get a Runtime Error. I also get the error when staring Word separately. I am then required to start Word in Safe mode but, after exiting that, the progam continues to generate the error if I try again.

The Text box caption is Miscrosoft Visual C++ Runtime Error and in the text box is the following:

Program C:\ProgramFiles\Microsoft Office\Office10\WINWORD.EXE

abnormal progam termination.

I have run the Office Setup package twice, once attempting to repair Office and then attempting to reinstall Office.

I'm hoping I don't have to remove Offcie and then do a full reinstall.

I'd appreciate any help you can provide.

Since you mention that the problem also occurs when you start Word separately, it appears to be a Word problem rather than an Outlook problem, so I have moved your question to the Word forum.
