I just saw an interesting question (interesting to me, anyway) elsewhere and wondered if anyone here knew if this was possible.

The person is a teacher and wanted a way (VBA ok, but not something I can do) to limit access to a Word document based on the date. While he didn't say, I assume he wants access (password?) himself regardless of the date, or may not care assuming he has another copy of the document he's protecting. He's using both 2003 and 2007.

I thought it was an interesting concept, especially for a teacher wanting to protect notes based on the time frame of a lecture, etc.

Perhaps you can tweak the code provided by Chris Greaves in the topic Protecting Course Notes. (Word2000+) to suit your needs.
