I have run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor and my PC2 is compatible for Win7. Downloaded W7 a few days ago and have installed it this afternoon. No problems so far, but I am used to seeing the file extensions and using a sinle click on files - rather than a double click. Can anyone please point me in the right direction to turn this on please?

I moved your post to the Beta Software forum since Windows 7 is still in beta.

    - Select Start | Control Panel.
    - Open the Folder Options control panel.
    - In the General tab, click "Single-click to open an item (point to select)".
    - In the View tab, clear the check box "Hide extensions for known file types".
    - Click OK.

Or use Windows Explorer - Organize | Folder and Search options. Then the same General & View steps as Hans posted.
