I've just been reviewing the installed plugins after upgrading to Firefox 3.5 and noticed two plugins that I'm wary of and would like comments on.

    "Microsoft DRM 9.0.0.3250
    DRM Netscape Network Object"

    and

    "Microsoft DRM 9.0.0.3250
    DRM Store Netscape Plugin"

    On a separate note:
Apparently Microsoft has added the .Net Framework to Firefox as an addon without notification. More info here.

    Cheers
    Ken

The plugins come with Windows Media Player, and they are used when you download and play files protected with Microsoft's Digital Rights Management.

    Thanks Hans.

I guess it's OK to leave them there.

    Have a great weekend
