If Im doing a reference page (APA), and I create it via the Bibliography "button" on the Reference tab, the sheet that is created I then have to reformat, for APA calls for Hanging indents.

Page margins are 1". So I set up all the citations created via Bibliography), select all the text and set it (Paragraph/Indentation) for hanging indents.

But it moves the top line out, instead of the rest of the lines in (which I guess makes sense); so I go back and set the left margin for 1.5", and then re-do the hanging indent. Then it is fine.

Is that how this needs to be done? It seems a bit convoluted.

I'd set up a style with the paragraph formatting that you need.
You then only have to apply that style.

Or isn't that feasible with a bibiography? (I don't have Word 2007 myself so I can't test it)

Hans, dunno, as I've done very little with styles. But it certainly sounds like a plan. I'll give it a shot. Thanks
