Power point slide show
Do you have PowerPoint?
Perhaps Unable to open .PPS attachments directly from Windows Mail in Windows Vista is relevant?

If the email attachment is a power point, it should have an extension of .pps. Right click the "paperclip" icon and choose "save as".
Save the file to a convenient place such as Desktop or My Documents.
Go to that location and right click the saved file. Use "open with" as a choice and look for Power Point to open the file.
You can also download a free MS Power Point Viewer HERE
