I have a multi-section document with a form in one section. When the section with the form is protected ("Filling in forms"), it is still possible to edit text in an unprotected section, but I cannot select or manipulate pictures in the unprotected section. The text box and other shapes on the drawing toolbar are also unavailable when the form is protected. Is it possible to completely unprotect the "unprotected" sections so that pictures and other objects can be manipulated while the form remains protected?

It's possible to use code to protect/unprotect the document as the user switches between sections.
A detailed example with a sample document as attachment is given in Post 342898.
But as mentioned there, it's a bit tricky to set it up, so be careful.
