Does anyone know of a way to minimize Outlook 2007 to the tray when one clicks the close button. Currently I have the setting active that it minimizes to the tray when I click the min button, but by habit I close the program and then it plays havoc on messages in the outbox or even ones being sent. (I am using Outlook with a POP3 account)

It would be great to have Outlook minimize if I click the X button. Any ideas or maybe registry hacks???

There are some utilities/add-ins that provide this functionality:
    OL Keeper
    Actual Window Minimizer
    TheBest Minimize to Tray

None of these is free, though.

I read a post (somewhere out there) implying that if you create a VBA procedure to keep an eye on the Close Event, and then detect only one explorer object open, then you could have your code cancel the close and instead minimize the window. Haven't tried to program it.
