1. I am having a challenge using a formula with AND(OR and am not sure how to proceed. I can distribute dollars based on a HireDate but when I introduce a SeperationMonth, well let's just say this is where the challenge is.

I have attached a sample workbook for your review.

dont know whether it will work or not but you should try offset instead of AND/OR.

If you leave the SeperationMonth blank, then nothing is distributed.

4. Try this in E14 and fill right:

=IF(OR(\$B\$7>E7,AND(\$C\$4<>"",MONTH(E3)>=\$C\$4)),0,E2 )
