Reviewing a Custom Function in VBA

I can sometimes step through the XL97 custom function by editing (F2) the cell (where the formula goes), pressing F8 and finally enter. There must be a better way to step through the custom function as what I described does not work each and every time. Any ideas?

Re: Reviewing a Custom Function in VBA

I always go to the macro in the VBA Editor and set a breakpoint on the line of code in the function where I want to start stepping through (put the cursor in that line of code and press F9). Then go back to the sheet and select a cell using the function and press F2 then Enter. You should be put in the VBE with the line of code set to execute next. Has never failed for me.
