    The ie6 icon is the same in the address bar for all websites. If i go to google it should have a google icon display, but it is ie the blue logo. Is there a setting to change this default icon. then when i list my favorites it has microsft icons next to the shortcut.

    Have you tried deleting your browsing history (i.e. temporary internet files)?

    Sounds like you have removed the Favicons for the different sites. These images are normally stored in the browser tempt file folder(s).

    Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
