    You can set variables in debug, but you can't change the value of fields because those are based on the underlying recordsets or calculated values. It isn't likely that your breakpoint will work properly in a report anyhow, since they behave differently from forms and won't always allow you to break into code where you want to.

    One way to test it, though, is to insert a conditional break into your code, probably in the Format event of a group header. Put in something like this:

    <pre>If [txtMyField]=varWhatever Then
    Stop
    End If</pre>


    Substitute the actual control name and the correct value in the above, and it should break into code when that value is reached in the recordset.
