    hi,

    I have some documents, in whcih text is placed as information map.

    Please find the document as attachment.

    Is it posible to convert text present in info-map as normal text. Information map actually uses table to put information in it.

    Is it possible to remove the table and display the text as body text instead of table text.

    regards

    Click anywhere in the table.
    Select Table | Convert | Table to Text...
    Choose how you want to separate the text from the columns (default is Tab, but you can also choose Paragraph mark, Comma, or a custom character).
    Click OK.

    have you seen the atachment in my mail.

    Its not a typical kind of table, its something different.May be i dont know the exact name for this kind of structure.

    It will be very time taking to selct each table and do all the steps.

    Is it possible to do this task in one go?

    I did indeed look at the attachment. The document that you attached contains a single table, so you'd need to perform only one conversion. If your 'real' document contains multiple tables, you could run a macro:

    Code:
     Sub ConvertTables()
      Dim tbl As Table
      For Each tbl In ActiveDocument.Tables
    	tbl.ConvertToText Separator:=wdSeparateByParagraphs, _
    	  NestedTables:=True
      Next tbl
    End Sub
    This version separates the text with paragraph marks, you can modify it to suit your needs.
