Quite often one posts a post and notices a typo that wasn't there when one first wrote it.

Is there any possibility of including a period of grace (say 2-5 minutes?) during which any edit will not have the dreaded "This post has been edited by..." added?

    Thanks

PS A couple of other Forums I frequent use that mechanism - but they use VBulletin...!

It would be nice to have that, but I don't see such an option. You'll have to check your spelling before clicking "Add Reply"...

Really?? So all those edits I made were never my fault in the first place? Oh, drats... there's that accursed edit line again!

    It must be magic!

"a typo that wasn't there when one first wrote it."

Conspiracy theorists will be coming out of the woodwork....
