I am using Excel 2003 version.
Is it possible to bold a list in my drop down list? For example, if my drop down content the following: Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May,.... And I want May to be bolded. Please help.

That is not possible, at least not without using complicated Windows API code.

I have just tried this by typing a lookup list starting at Cell A1, then in C2 I set data validation to look at this list. Once the drop down was created I then set conditional formatting to bold the required choice.

I think the idea was to have it appear bold in the dropdown list, not when selected in the cell (that's what Hans meant about the API code being required)
