    Hi all,

I have this reminder message that occurs every Tuesday of the week that I want to stop permanently. I am using 2003 outlook version.
    TIA

It is probably either a recurring appointment, which you can delete from your Calendar, or a recurring task, which you can delete from Tasks.

Open the recurring meeting, select open the series in the dialog box, set the reminder time to "None", save and close.

NOTE: This does not delete the meeting nor the recurrence properties. It just removes the reminder.

No, you should not create a new appointment. As Joe indicated, open the existing appointment in your Calendar and clear the Reminder check box, then save and close the appointment.

That's not necessary - you can open the appointment at any time and turn off the reminder.
