    Thumbs up

I downloaded and installed the newer version of AllChars a program I have relied on for years and used daily. After installing the newer version I was missing the bottom of the screen box with the + - KEY in the left corner and the close in the right corner. After much work I was able to get the older Version 3.6.2 running again and I imported my older macros, edited some like rjbphillipsiii, rjbphillipsiii@yahoo.com those are done with the / and lo1 or / and lo2.
Anyone else had trouble with the new version? Thanks you. Richard

I'm guessing that you have uninstalled the newer version and reinstalled the old one. If so, and you are sure you have the install files for the version that works and can install it again if need be, then I would suggest uninstalling the old version and reboot the computer and then trying to reinstall the new version.

If you want to put a buffer between your system and the program making uncorrectable changes to your system, I would recommend you get a free copy of Total Uninstall. This program will allow you to remove any software that it monitors the installation of, completely and reverse all changes made to your system by the installation.

It is possible that the new version may have some sort of incompatibility issue with something on your system and may not work for you. Upgrades do not always improve things.
