    Thumbs up

    Hi,

Please consider the attached data table.

These are pairs of values, where ĎSí is for student.

Consider these pairs of values to be grades, so the 1st shows a studentís grade in Semester 1. And the next shows her grade in Semester 2.

These are paired values where I need to compare between the pair & show then in a bar chart along with the Variance percentage!

As an output, Iím trying to:

    1. Get Excel to sort the values in sequential order, this to see the graph in sequence of grade
    2. Show a bar chart for each student showing the variance as a picture & also with a floating percentage

How can I do this? Thanks.

    Adam.

I'd organize the data differently, as in the attached version. This will enable you to sort and chart the data.

    I don't have Excel 2007, so I can't create in-cell bar charts; I created a standard chart instead.

    Thanks Hans.

Is it possible to have the results shown in sequence, ie. from lowest scoring student to highest?

    Adam.

If you sort the data table, the chart will be updated automatically.
