    Thumbs up

    Hello All,
My question: Is there any other way to access "Windows Software Explorer" other than through "Windows Defender"/tools/Software Explorer ? Had a "look around" and couldn't find one. Regards

No easy way. Perhaps a Batch file would do it if you knew the commands to start Software Explorer and Defender.

I can't find any evidence of a command line invocation for any component of Windows Defender, either.

Better hurry up in using it, too, since I don't think that Software Explorer is included in the Windows 7 version of Windows Defender...

See if Commands for Defender scan using Task Scheduler - Microsoft Windows Vista Community Forums - Vistaheads helps.
